Personal Information: When you sign in with Google, we collect your email address and basic profile info (UID) via Firebase Authentication to identify your account and sync your notes across devices.
User Content: The notes, tasks, and text you enter are stored securely in the Firebase Realtime Database. This data is private to your account.
Device Data: We may collect non-identifying technical data (OS version, crash logs) to improve app stability.

2. Permissions & Transparency

To provide our "Zero-Friction" experience, NoteThis requires the following sensitive permissions:

Display Over Other Apps (Overlay): Used exclusively to show the "Edge Tab" and Quick-Capture window so you can take notes without leaving your current app. We do NOT "read" the content of other apps.
Foreground Service: Necessary to keep the Edge Tab active and responsive. A persistent notification is shown to comply with Android system requirements.
Internet Access: Required to sync your notes to the cloud via Firebase.

3. Data Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Data is processed by:

Google Firebase: For cloud storage, authentication, and infrastructure.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Your notes stay in the cloud as long as your account is active. You can delete individual notes at any time within the app. If you wish to delete your entire account and all associated data, please contact us at [Contact Email] or use the "Delete Account" option in settings.
